Build your own budget
Look at recent mobile-data usage on your phone and identify the biggest apps. Add anything you expect to do differently on holiday: more uploads, navigation, video calls or tethering. Streaming quality and background downloads can change consumption considerably.

These numbers are hypothetical daily budgets, not measured app usage. Leave room for delays and extra time away from Wi-Fi. Do not choose an allowance that only works if every planned Wi-Fi connection is available and convenient.
Budget for transfers, sightseeing and sharing
For a Bangkok sightseeing day, save your hotel address and reservations before leaving. That keeps essential information available even if an app is slow to load. Photo and video uploads can be postponed to Wi-Fi if you want to protect a smaller allowance.

For a work day, include the laptop in your estimate. Hotspot traffic uses the same plan as the phone. Software updates, cloud backups and large files can use allowance in the background; pause unnecessary tasks before tethering.
Why daily Unlimited may slow down on a busy day
Imagine using 0.2GB on one day and 2GB the next. Daily Unlimited reaches its high-speed threshold after 1GB on the second day, even though the first day was light. Do not assume unused high-speed allowance rolls over. A fixed plan instead draws from the remaining trip-wide balance.
After the daily threshold, Unlimited continues at up to 5Mbps until reset. Actual performance also depends on signal, congestion and shared use. The daily reset clock is not specified here; contact EasyTripGo on WhatsApp if you need to schedule a large upload around it.
Check the duration against installation time
The plan duration begins at installation, not your first local connection in Thailand. If you install before a long journey, that time is already using the selected period. Seven hotel nights or seven calendar dates do not automatically fit a seven-day plan.
You have 90 days after purchase to activate, but that is not 90 days of service. Work out when you intend to install and when you last need data. Choose a longer option if the timing is close, or ask support to clarify the expiry calculation.
One hotspot or separate plans?
One hotspot can work when travelers stay together, but the host phone must remain connected, powered and within range. It does not give each person a separate allowance. On Unlimited, all connected devices share the daily 1GB high-speed threshold and the reduced-speed connection after it.
If you will split up during the day, separate plans may be more practical. Verify compatibility for each phone, and do not assume a single QR code is intended for installation on multiple devices.

Is 10GB enough for a week?
It depends on your usage. At an assumed 1GB per day, it leaves 3GB beyond that seven-day estimate. Frequent video or laptop use can change the calculation.
What if I need more data later?
