Calculate your actual roaming cost
Ask whether Thailand is included at no extra charge in your home plan. If so, check the overseas data allowance and whether hotspot use is permitted. If not, find the applicable pass price and what activates a billable day. Data, voice and SMS may be treated differently under your provider's terms.

Decide whether you need ordinary calls and SMS
EasyTripGo's Thailand eSIM has no phone number or standard voice/SMS bundle. Messaging and internet calling apps can use its data, but an ordinary call to your home number still depends on the home line. If you need bank texts or business calls, check availability and charges with that carrier.
On a compatible dual-SIM setup, you can select the travel line for data while retaining the home line for your number. Disable unwanted home-line data roaming and automatic data switching, and separately review voice, SMS and Wi-Fi calling charges. Compare networks without assuming one format is faster
This travel product supports AIS and Truemove. Your existing carrier's roaming service may also use local partner networks. The fact that one service is an eSIM does not by itself establish faster speeds, better indoor reception or a stronger connection offshore.

Watch the start-time difference
EasyTripGo allows activation within 90 days of purchase, but the chosen service duration begins at installation. Installing before departure uses some of that duration before arrival. A home roaming pass can use a different billing trigger, so compare when each option actually starts.
Use a reliable internet connection to install and keep the supplied instructions available. Before leaving Wi-Fi, test the travel line independently by briefly disabling Wi-Fi and opening a simple webpage.

Will disabling home data roaming prevent all charges?

Can I use hotspot with Unlimited?
Yes. Your phone and connected devices share the daily 1GB high-speed allowance and the reduced-speed connection after it. It is not a separate allowance per device.
