Compare Asia eSIM Coverage and KYC Requirements
Choose between Asia eSIM for 12 Destinations and Asia eSIM for 28 Destinations by your full itinerary. The larger destination count does not mean the second product includes every destination in the first.

The no-KYC statement above applies specifically to Hong Kong and Taiwan on the 28-destination product. It is not a blanket statement about every destination or every eSIM. Do not transfer the 12-destination product's network list, Unlimited limits, activation window, hotspot rules or installation timing to the 28-destination product; confirm the selected product's terms with support where not stated.

The 28-destination product also offers 15-day fixed-data options. View its current options and prices alongside the 12-destination examples below. Check whether the selected service duration covers your full journey and confirm the product-specific start rule. The price table and Unlimited 1GB/day examples below are for the 12-destination product, not a quotation for the 28-destination product.
Scope of the detailed examples below: The existing plan examples, prices, network table and service rules describe the 12-destination product unless explicitly labelled otherwise. Use the comparison above for the confirmed coverage and Hong Kong/Taiwan KYC differences.
A two-week trip through Asia can involve several flights, hotel stays and local networks. The best data allowance depends more on how you use your phone than on how many borders you cross. Plan the total service period first, then choose between a fixed data pool and a daily Unlimited allowance.

Translate the allowance into a useful planning average
Spread evenly over 15 days, 3GB is about 200MB per day, 5GB about 333MB, 10GB about 667MB and 20GB about 1.33GB. These are averages only: a fixed plan gives you one pool to use during the period, not a separate daily allocation. Photo backups, streaming quality and laptop updates can change your usage substantially.
- Light use with regular Wi-Fi: compare 3GB or 5GB for occasional maps, messaging and booking checks.
- Regular mobile use: compare 10GB or 20GB for more frequent browsing, social media and photo uploads.
- Heavy use or frequent tethering: compare 30GB or 50GB, while keeping a Wi-Fi backup for large transfers.
Fixed data vs Unlimited for two weeks
The 20GB / 15 Days option was $26.73 USD at the price check, while Unlimited / 15 Days was $59.30. A fixed pool offers flexibility across days; Unlimited offers continued access at up to 5Mbps after each day's 1GB high-speed allowance. The daily structure is not a flexible 15GB pool. Choose based on the type of access you need, not the Unlimited label alone.
One trip, one shared allowance
For a route covering Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, fixed data usage in each destination draws from the same regional plan. Do not budget as though buying 10GB provides 10GB separately in all three places. Hotspot devices also share that allowance. Moving to another destination does not restart your purchased duration.
Count from installation
This product's service days start on installation. If you install before a long flight, that time is part of the selected period. A 90-day activation window means you can begin within 90 days after purchase; it does not extend a 15-day plan to 90 days. Install close to when service is needed, and choose a longer option if the full intended period requires it.
Hong Kong and Taiwan: KYC Depends on Your Product
For the 12-destination Asia eSIM, use in Hong Kong and Taiwan requires KYC identity verification, including uploading passport information. The 28-destination Asia eSIM does not require KYC for Hong Kong or Taiwan. Follow the verification instructions supplied for your order before relying on connectivity in these destinations. If you cannot find the process, contact EasyTripGo support. Do not assume scanning the eSIM QR code completes KYC, or that verification for one destination automatically covers another. Processing time and any additional steps should be checked in your order instructions.
Upload passport information only through the designated verification process. Never post passport images, QR codes or ICCIDs in public comments. If a message or upload link seems unexpected, verify it with support before submitting documents.
Frequently asked questions
Will Unlimited stop after 1GB?
The policy provides continued data at up to 5Mbps after the daily high-speed threshold. Actual performance remains subject to network conditions.
Can I pause the plan between destinations?
Do not treat turning the eSIM off as a pause. Plan for the service period beginning at installation.
Does 30GB improve coverage compared with 5GB?
No. It gives you a larger total allowance, not stronger reception or additional destinations.
The 12-destination product includes Mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Check the product coverage list before buying.
