Hong Kong and Taiwan: KYC Depends on Your Product
For the 12-destination Asia eSIM, use in Hong Kong and Taiwan requires KYC identity verification, including uploading passport information. The 28-destination Asia eSIM does not require KYC for Hong Kong or Taiwan. Follow the verification instructions supplied for your order before relying on connectivity in these destinations. If you cannot find the process, contact EasyTripGo support. Do not assume scanning the eSIM QR code completes KYC, or that verification for one destination automatically covers another. Processing time and any additional steps should be checked in your order instructions.
Upload passport information only through the designated verification process. Never post passport images, QR codes or ICCIDs in public comments. If a message or upload link seems unexpected, verify it with support before submitting documents.
Crossing from one supported destination to another
Keep the regional profile installed during your trip. On arrival, the phone needs to register with an available supported network, so service may not be immediate. Follow the delivered data-roaming instructions and allow time for reconnection. If it does not connect, confirm that the correct line is selected, try a restart or airplane-mode toggle, and contact support rather than deleting the profile.
Coverage limits within a destination
Cities can have weak-signal areas inside buildings or underground. Rural routes, mountainous regions, islands and remote accommodation can have variable or unavailable service. Download maps and travel documents before leaving a reliable connection. A destination being on the list does not guarantee coverage everywhere inside it.
Allowance, speed and geography are different
Buying 30GB rather than 5GB changes the total data pool, not the list of destinations. The Unlimited plan provides 1GB high-speed per day, then data at up to 5Mbps. A 5G icon does not remove this fair-use policy, and being below the daily threshold does not guarantee fast speeds if the network is congested. Hotspot shares whatever connection your phone has.
Mainland China: check essential services separately
Mainland China is listed for this plan, but coverage alone does not confirm access to every app, website or workplace service. No unrestricted-access or VPN-free guarantee is made here. If a specific service is essential, ask support about it before purchasing.
