What “local network” means
The local product is provisioned for Vinaphone in Vietnam. It can be a strong-value choice for city breaks and ordinary tourist routes. However, local-network status does not guarantee the best signal in every building, village or mountain valley.

What “roaming network” means
The roaming profile can register on supported partner networks in Vietnam. Current product information lists Viettel, MobiFone and Vinaphone. Can I manually switch networks on the roaming plan?
Usually, you can open Network Selection and try a supported partner if automatic selection fails. Availability depends on the profile and location.
Will the local plan avoid all roaming settings?
Not necessarily. Follow the delivery instructions. Travel eSIM profiles can still require Data Roaming to be enabled even when the product is described as local-network.
Can I convert one product into the other?
No. They are separate plans. If you need a different product, purchase the suitable option rather than deleting a working eSIM.
