When your trip ends, you can leave the EasyTripGo eSIM installed, turn the line off or delete it. The right choice depends on whether the plan still has valid data and whether you may need it again.
Option 1: Turn the line off
This is the safest temporary choice. The profile remains on the phone but stops connecting to mobile networks. You can turn it back on if the plan is still valid and the destination is covered.
Option 2: Leave it installed but inactive for data
You can keep the profile enabled while selecting your normal SIM for mobile data. However, a clear label and correct roaming settings are important so you do not select the wrong line later.
Option 3: Delete it when you are completely finished
Delete the eSIM only after you have confirmed that:
- The trip has ended.
- The plan is expired, exhausted or no longer needed.
- You do not need support to inspect the installed profile.
- You understand that the original QR code may not work again.
How to remove it
- iPhone: Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data > select the line > Delete eSIM.
- Samsung: Settings > Connections > SIM manager > select the eSIM > Remove.
- Pixel: Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > select the eSIM > Erase SIM.
Menu wording varies. Make sure you are removing the EasyTripGo travel profile, not your primary eSIM.
If another trip is coming soon
First check whether the plan still has data, valid days and destination coverage. Read whether you can reuse a travel eSIM. If there is any uncertainty, turn the line off and ask support before deleting it.
