How to Reset Network Settings Without Deleting Your eSIM

How to reset network settings safely without deleting an eSIM

A network-settings reset can help when an eSIM remains offline after you have checked the selected data line, data roaming, APN and network selection. It should be a later troubleshooting step—not the first one.

Before resetting anything

  • Save the Wi-Fi password you will need afterward.
  • Write down any APN settings supplied in your EasyTripGo delivery email.
  • Confirm that the EasyTripGo eSIM is still listed on the phone.
  • Do not choose Delete All eSIMs, Erase eSIM or Erase All Content and Settings.

iPhone

  1. Open Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone.
  2. Tap Reset.
  3. Choose Reset Network Settings only.
  4. Enter your passcode and confirm.

This removes saved network information such as Wi-Fi passwords and can remove VPN and manually entered APN settings. It is separate from the option that deletes all eSIMs.

Google Pixel

  1. Open Settings > System > Reset options.
  2. Choose Reset Mobile Network Settings.
  3. Review the screen carefully and confirm only the mobile-network reset.

Samsung Galaxy

  1. Open Settings > General management > Reset.
  2. Tap Reset mobile network settings.
  3. Confirm the reset when prompted.

After the reset

  1. Restart the phone and reconnect to Wi-Fi.
  2. Confirm that the EasyTripGo line is turned on and selected for mobile data.
  3. Enable data roaming on the EasyTripGo eSIM.
  4. Re-enter the supplied APN if it was removed.
  5. Test the connection with Wi-Fi turned off.
