eSIM Line Greyed Out or Cannot Turn On? Try These Checks

Checks for an eSIM line that is greyed out or cannot be enabled

If the EasyTripGo eSIM appears in settings but its switch is greyed out or cannot be enabled, the phone may be in Airplane Mode, completing another cellular change, affected by a software issue, or controlled by a device restriction.

Run the basic checks

  1. Turn Airplane Mode off.
  2. Wait for any software or carrier update to finish.
  3. Restart the phone.
  4. Open SIM Manager, Cellular, or Mobile Network again.
  5. Check whether another SIM setting is currently being changed.

Review device restrictions

A company, school, parental-control profile, or mobile-device-management policy can restrict cellular changes. On a managed phone, contact the device administrator. Do not remove a management profile unless you are authorized to do so.

Check the phone and stored profiles

Install available system updates and confirm the exact model supports the required combination of active SIMs. Some phones can store several eSIMs but enable only a limited number at once. Temporarily turn off an unused line and try enabling EasyTripGo again. Our stored eSIM profile guide explains this difference.

Avoid destructive resets

Do not erase the eSIM or factory-reset the phone. If a network-settings reset is considered, save Wi-Fi passwords and review our network reset guide first. A reset may change roaming, APN, and data-line preferences.

If the line remains unavailable, send the order number, phone model, software version, SIM-list screenshot, and details about device management to official@easytripgo.com or WhatsApp.
