The EasyTripGo France eSIM lists Orange, Bouygues and SFR as networks, with 5G / 4G / LTE where available. That does not guarantee every listed network is selectable in every location, or that a 5G connection will always be available. Check the places where you will actually stay and travel rather than relying on a nationwide coverage label.
Use a location-based coverage check
France's telecom regulator provides Mon réseau mobile, a tool for comparing operators' coverage information. Look up your accommodation, planned rural stops and travel route. Operator coverage information is useful context, but it does not guarantee the performance or roaming access of a specific travel eSIM at that address.
Paris, Lyon, Marseille and other cities
Dense urban areas can still contain weak-signal spots. Thick walls, basement rooms, interior courtyards, underground transport and crowded venues can affect a connection. If you have a weak signal indoors, a safe spot near a window or outside may help. Do not interpret one poor indoor result as proof that the whole city is unsupported.
Countryside, mountains and travel routes
Rural roads, mountain valleys and remote accommodation deserve an advance check. Keep maps and booking details available offline, particularly if you will drive between regions. A connection can change as a train or vehicle moves between network areas; do not plan a time-critical online task around uninterrupted coverage throughout a journey.
Network coverage and fair-use speed are different
A visible 5G indicator does not remove your plan's fair-use rule. You receive 1GB high-speed data per day, followed by unlimited data at up to 5Mbps until the daily allowance resets. Conversely, being within the high-speed allowance does not guarantee fast service if local reception is weak or the network is busy. Buying more service days does not strengthen the signal.
Does this plan cover overseas France?
Do not assume a product labelled France includes every French overseas territory. This product description lists France without a separate overseas destination list. Ask support to confirm your specific destination before buying. Regional Europe products have their own lists and must be checked separately.
Continuing beyond France?
Do not assume this France-specific plan covers the rest of Europe. Compare Europe eSIM for 38 Destinations and Europe eSIM for 41 Destinations. Both list France; the 41-destination product also lists Switzerland, Turkey and the Faroe Islands. Match every stop to the selected product's coverage list. The original 32-destination Europe product does not include France. See our Europe eSIM guide for the regional comparison.
What to check if you cannot connect
- Confirm your device supports eSIM, is unlocked and has the France profile enabled.
- Confirm the plan has not expired; installation starts the selected duration.
- Select the France eSIM for mobile data and follow the delivered roaming/APN instructions.
- Try toggling airplane mode or restarting the phone, then allow time to reconnect.
- If the issue continues, contact support before deleting the eSIM. A deleted profile may require assistance to replace.
Frequently asked questions
Can I choose any of the three networks?
The product lists Orange, Bouygues and SFR, but the usable network depends on the plan's provisioning and local availability. Follow support guidance if manual selection is needed.
Is 5G guaranteed?
No. Device capability, local network availability and conditions determine the connection.
Will hotspot improve reception?
No. Hotspot shares the phone's existing mobile connection; it does not increase geographic coverage.
