On Android, menu names vary by manufacturer and software version; use your device's SIM or mobile-network settings and its official instructions. Do not assume another phone's menu layout will be identical.

Select the correct mobile-data line

After adding the profile, label it clearly—for example, France Travel. Select it for mobile data when you are ready to use the plan. Follow the order's instructions for data roaming and any APN settings. Keep unwanted data roaming disabled on your home line and disable automatic data switching if your device offers that option. Do not invent APN values or copy settings from an unrelated provider.

Share the connection by hotspot

Hotspot and tethering are supported. First confirm that the phone itself can access the internet using the France eSIM. Then enable its hotspot or tethering feature, set a strong password and connect your laptop or tablet. Menu labels differ by device. If tethering does not work, keep the profile installed and ask support to check the setup.

Your laptop shares the daily high-speed allowance

The plan provides 1GB high-speed data per day, followed by unlimited data at up to 5Mbps. Phone and hotspot traffic count toward the same daily usage. A laptop's cloud sync, operating-system updates and large downloads can consume that allowance quickly. Pause automatic downloads, use Wi-Fi for large transfers and disconnect unused devices. Actual connection speed may be below the reduced-speed maximum.

Data only does not mean a French phone number

You can use internet messaging and calling apps over the data connection, subject to their own requirements. This eSIM does not include a telephone number, traditional voice calls or SMS. Keep any required home-line service separate and check the associated carrier charges.

If something goes wrong

Check the selected data line, remaining service duration and delivered setup instructions. Try a restart or brief airplane-mode toggle. Avoid repeatedly deleting and reinstalling the profile: the same QR code may not support reuse. Contact support with your order number and a screenshot of the relevant settings, hiding unnecessary personal details. If you need more service after the plan ends, purchase a new plan rather than assuming this one can be topped up.
