How to Use a Travel eSIM on HONOR

How to use an EasyTripGo travel eSIM on HONOR

eSIM support varies between HONOR models and sales regions. On a compatible phone, installing the EasyTripGo profile is only the first step: you also need to enable it, select it as the default data SIM, and allow data roaming.

Confirm eSIM support

Search Settings for eSIM, Add eSIM, or SIM management. Confirm the exact model number and regional specification rather than relying only on the device name. If the option is unavailable, follow our eSIM compatibility checklist.

Select the travel profile

  1. Open Settings → Mobile network → SIM management.
  2. Find EasyTripGo, Travel, eSIM, or the newly installed line.
  3. Turn that line on.
  4. Choose it under Default mobile data or Mobile data.

Keep your home number for calls and messages if needed, but disable smart or automatic data switching while you test the connection.

Enable data roaming on the correct line

Open the EasyTripGo eSIM settings or Mobile data menu and enable Data roaming. Do not enable roaming for the home line unless you understand the home carrier's charges. A roaming symbol on the EasyTripGo line can be normal; see our roaming-indicator guide.

Reconnect and test

Turn Wi-Fi off, toggle Airplane Mode for 30 seconds, and open a new webpage. If data does not load, check the APN and network selection using our no-internet troubleshooting guide.

Do not delete the eSIM. Send the order number, exact HONOR model, software version, location, and screenshots to official@easytripgo.com or WhatsApp.
