After landing in your destination, a few settings determine whether your EasyTripGo eSIM connects correctly. Complete this checklist in order and do not delete the eSIM if the first connection attempt takes a few minutes.
Turn off Airplane Mode and enable the eSIM
After the aircraft has arrived and device use is permitted, turn off Airplane Mode. Open your SIM settings and make sure the EasyTripGo line is switched on. If you installed the plan before travelling, review how pre-travel installation works.
Select EasyTripGo for mobile data
Choose the EasyTripGo eSIM as the phone's mobile-data line. Do not leave your home SIM selected and turn off automatic cellular-data switching. Follow the mobile-data selection guide if you use two lines.
Enable data roaming on EasyTripGo only
Travel eSIMs normally connect through a roaming partner, so data roaming must be enabled on the EasyTripGo line. Keep roaming disabled on your primary SIM to reduce accidental home-carrier charges. See how to protect your primary SIM.
Refresh and test the connection
Wait several minutes for network registration. If necessary, switch Airplane Mode on for 15–30 seconds, then turn it off and restart the phone. Temporarily disable Wi-Fi and load a lightweight webpage to confirm that mobile data works.
