iPhones with eSIM
Apple was among the first to go all-in on eSIM, and today nearly every iPhone from the last several years is covered. Here's the full rundown.

Heads-up: iPhones sold in mainland China, and iPhone models from Hong Kong and Macao (apart from the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone SE 2020, and iPhone XS) do not include eSIM.
In the USA, the iPhone 14, 14 Plus, Pro and Pro Max, plus the iPhone 15 series, drop the physical SIM slot entirely.
The iPhone 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max are SIM-only in mainland China and eSIM-only in Bahrain, Canada, Guam, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the USA.
The iPhone Air is Apple's first fully eSIM-only iPhone worldwide — and notably the first iPhone to bring eSIM to China.
