EasyTripGo's Singapore eSIM supports StarHub and M1, with 5G where supported and available and 4G/LTE as applicable. The useful question is not simply whether Singapore has mobile coverage, but whether your device and service work well in the places where you need them.
This is a planning guide, not a field-tested coverage report. We have not measured signal in every terminal, hotel, attraction or MRT tunnel. Use it with the Singapore eSIM product details and current operator information.
What the supported-network list means
StarHub and M1 are the supported networks confirmed for this product. Actual access depends on the eSIM profile, available service and local conditions. It does not mean two networks are connected simultaneously, that every visible network can be selected manually, or that the phone is guaranteed to choose whichever is fastest.
For operator-level information, consult StarHub's official 5G coverage guidance and M1's official 5G page. Those pages describe their networks; they are not a guarantee that every travel eSIM has every retail-network feature or the same performance at a given location.
Check your route by use case
| Place or situation | Useful preparation |
|---|---|
| Changi Airport arrival | Save your hotel and transport details, and keep order instructions accessible |
| Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay | Save admission or reservation details before you need to show them |
| Shopping malls and indoor venues | Check reception where you actually need data, not only outside the building |
| MRT journeys | Keep the destination, interchange and exit information available offline |
| Sentosa outings | Save return transport details and check specific indoor or beach locations |
| Offshore or cross-border trips | Check the exact destination and service coverage separately |
Changi: separate airport Wi-Fi from mobile data
The airport's official Wi-Fi guide explains how to get online at Changi. A working Wi-Fi connection can help retrieve instructions, but it can also hide a mobile-data setup problem. Before leaving a reliable connection, briefly turn Wi-Fi off and test a simple webpage through the travel eSIM.
If the page does not load, reconnect to Wi-Fi and check the selected data line and supplied settings. Keep your accommodation address available without relying on an immediate connection. Airport Wi-Fi availability is separate from the eSIM's network coverage.
Marina Bay, indoor attractions and MRT travel
For busy sightseeing days, a saved booking confirmation is a useful backup even when you expect to be connected. Building materials, indoor position, crowds and device settings can affect the experience. A national coverage claim cannot establish reception at a particular ticket counter or inside a room.
For MRT journeys, save route details before you depart. This is a precaution, not a claim that the network does or does not work in a specific tunnel. If uninterrupted connectivity is essential for a work call, choose a suitable stationary location and test it first.
Sentosa and trips beyond the main city itinerary
Check the actual venue or activity rather than assuming the island name establishes coverage everywhere. Hotels, indoor attractions, beaches and ferry routes can present different conditions. Keep return transport details available and ask the venue about alternatives if connectivity is critical.
A Singapore plan should not be assumed to cover a Malaysia side trip or a ferry destination in another country. Confirm the destination list for a suitable regional plan before travel. Avoid relying on incidental border-area reception as proof that your plan includes another country.
Slow data is not always weak coverage
On Unlimited, the plan includes 1GB high-speed per day. After that, data continues at up to 5Mbps until the daily reset. A strong signal can coexist with that speed cap. Conversely, unused data does not help if the local connection is unavailable.
Hotspot devices share the same connection and allowance. If several devices are using it, check combined activity before blaming coverage. For a fixed plan, check the remaining data; for Unlimited, check the daily threshold and ask support for the reset time if needed.
A short troubleshooting order
- Confirm the Singapore eSIM is enabled and selected for mobile data.
- Follow the order's data-roaming and APN instructions.
- Check allowance and plan expiry; duration starts at installation.
- Test a simple page in another safe location if practical.
- Contact support before deleting the eSIM or repeatedly reinstalling it.
Frequently asked questions
Does a 5G icon guarantee high-speed service?
No. Device capability, local conditions, the provisioned service and plan limits all matter. The Unlimited daily cap still applies after its high-speed allowance.
Does this plan include calls for getting help?
It is data-only with no phone number or standard calls/SMS bundle. Arrange number-based communication separately if you need it.
Activate within 90 days of purchase, with the chosen service duration starting at installation. For a location or setup question, contact EasyTripGo on WhatsApp with your device model and itinerary.
