Only certain Huawei models and regional versions support eSIM. If your device supports it and the EasyTripGo profile is installed, choose that profile as the default mobile data SIM and enable roaming for it. Menu wording varies by EMUI and HarmonyOS version.
Verify compatibility first
Open Settings and search for eSIM, SIM management, or Add eSIM. Check the exact model number and regional specification. A phone with the same marketing name can have different eSIM support. Use our No Add eSIM troubleshooting guide if the option is absent.
Enable the installed profile
- Open Settings → Mobile network → SIM management.
- Find EasyTripGo, Travel, eSIM, or the new line.
- Turn the profile on.
- Select it as the default Mobile data SIM.
Your primary line can remain selected for calls if needed. Disable automatic data switching during testing so the phone does not use the home line unexpectedly.
Enable data roaming
Open Mobile network → Mobile data or the travel eSIM's individual settings and enable Data roaming. Confirm that roaming remains off for the primary line if you want to avoid home-carrier charges. See our primary SIM protection guide.
Test and collect evidence
Turn Wi-Fi off, toggle Airplane Mode for 30 seconds, and open a new website. If necessary, check the supplied APN and partner network with our complete connection checklist.
Do not delete the eSIM. Send the order number, exact Huawei model, software version, location, and SIM-management screenshots to official@easytripgo.com or WhatsApp.
