eSIM Stuck on Activating? What to Do

eSIM stuck on activating troubleshooting steps

An eSIM can sometimes remain on Activating while your phone finishes registering the profile or waits for a supported network. This does not always mean the installation failed. Follow the checks below in order, and do not delete the eSIM.

1. Connect to stable Wi-Fi

eSIM installation and activation require an internet connection. Connect to reliable Wi-Fi, turn off any VPN temporarily, and keep the phone connected for a few minutes.

2. Check whether the eSIM line appears

  • iPhone: Settings → Cellular or Mobile Data.
  • Android: Settings → Connections, SIM Manager, Network & Internet, or Mobile Networks.

If the EasyTripGo, Travel, Secondary, or SIM 2 line is visible, the profile is already on the phone. Turn that line off, wait 10 seconds, and turn it on again.

3. Refresh the connection

  1. Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds.
  2. Turn Airplane Mode off.
  3. Restart the phone.
  4. Check for an operating-system or carrier-settings update.

4. If you have not reached your destination

Some travel eSIMs only finish connecting when they can reach a supported network at the destination. If the profile is installed before travel, an Activating or No Service message may be normal until arrival. See Can I Install an eSIM Before Traveling?

Still stuck?

Take a screenshot of the message and contact EasyTripGo Support at official@easytripgo.com or WhatsApp +62 81190057586. Include your order number, phone model, and current country. We will check the profile and can provide a replacement QR code when appropriate.

Important: Do not delete the eSIM unless our support team specifically asks you to. Many profiles cannot be installed again with the same code. You may also find eSIM QR Code Not Working? helpful.
