In many cases, you can install your travel eSIM before departure while connected to stable Wi-Fi. It may show No Service until you arrive in a country covered by the plan.
Installation and activation are different
Installation downloads the eSIM profile to your phone. Network activation happens when the eSIM connects to a supported network. The exact start rule depends on the plan, so always check the product details and installation email.
Recommended setup process
- Confirm that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked.
- Install the eSIM on the day of departure or shortly before traveling, using reliable Wi-Fi.
- Label the line EasyTripGo or Travel so it is easy to identify.
- Keep your primary SIM selected until you need the travel data.
- After arrival, switch on the EasyTripGo eSIM, select it for mobile data and enable data roaming.
- Turn Airplane Mode on and off if the network does not connect immediately.
Normal before arrival: An eSIM for Türkiye, for example, may install successfully in the United Kingdom but remain without signal until the traveler reaches Türkiye.
Do not test by deleting the profile
If the eSIM appears in your SIM settings, installation is already complete. Do not delete it simply because it has no signal outside the coverage area.
If installation itself fails, send EasyTripGo Support your phone model and a screenshot of the exact error. Never share the QR code publicly.
