Check your device first

Confirm that your exact model and regional version support eSIM, and that the phone is unlocked for another carrier. Have the delivered QR code or installation details ready and use a working internet connection to download the profile.

Read the instructions before starting. Keep the QR code private; it is an installation credential. If your chosen method needs the code displayed on another screen, arrange that in advance rather than assuming every device can scan an image on its own screen.

Installing before departure

You may install before travelling, but the elapsed time is part of the plan duration. A three-day plan installed two days before you need data leaves much less of that period for the visit. Turning off the line does not pause or restart validity.

Buying early does not require installing early. Keep the 90-day installation deadline in mind, then choose an installation time and purchased duration that fit your trip. If your plans change, review the timing before scanning.

Set up the line

1. Follow the supplied method to add the eSIM profile.
2. Give the line a recognisable label, such as Brunei Data.
3. Select it for mobile data when you want to use the plan.
4. Apply the order’s data-roaming and APN instructions; do not guess settings from another plan.
5. Review any automatic switching that could use your home SIM’s mobile data.
6. Once supported service is available, test with a small web page.

Share a hotspot carefully

Hotspot is supported. Enable it using your phone’s settings, set a password and connect the intended device. Check the connected device for cloud backups, operating-system downloads and app updates before leaving the connection active.

Fixed-data hotspot traffic uses the same total allowance. On Unlimited, the phone and connected devices share 1GB high-speed data per day, followed by unlimited data at up to 5Mbps. The allowance resets daily; it is not a separate gigabyte for each device. Confirm the reset time with support if it matters to your usage.

Understand connection limits

The product lists DST, 5G where available and 4G/LTE. Actual speeds depend on device compatibility, signal and local network conditions. Hotspot does not create coverage where the phone has no usable connection, and 5Mbps is a cap after fair usage rather than a promised rate.

For rural or rainforest outings, prepare offline copies of essential details. This product is for Brunei; do not expect it to continue working in another country without checking coverage for that destination.

If something goes wrong

Note the error message, device model and installation time. Check the selected data line and supplied settings. Avoid repeatedly deleting the profile: reinstalling may require assistance. Contact support if you need help or a replacement QR code.

No local number, traditional calls or SMS are included. If you leave your home line active for those services, check its charges separately. Using this eSIM for data does not remove all possible roaming charges from the other line.
