How to Select Your eSIM for Mobile Data

Steps to select the EasyTripGo eSIM for mobile data

Installing an eSIM does not always make it the active data line. On a dual-SIM phone, your regular SIM may remain selected for mobile data, leaving the travel eSIM unused.

How to identify the correct eSIM

Look for the label you chose during installation, such as EasyTripGo, Travel, Secondary or Business. On some Android phones, it may appear as SIM 2.

On iPhone

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Cellular or Mobile Data.
  3. Tap Cellular Data.
  4. Select the EasyTripGo eSIM.
  5. Turn off Cellular Data Switching if you do not want the phone to use your primary SIM automatically.

On Android

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Connections, Network & Internet or Mobile Networks.
  3. Open SIM Manager or the SIM settings.
  4. Under Mobile Data or Data SIM, select the EasyTripGo eSIM.

Menu names vary between Samsung, Google Pixel, Xiaomi and other Android phones.

Tip: Keep your primary SIM selected for calls if needed, while using the EasyTripGo eSIM for mobile data.

Next step

After selecting the eSIM, enable data roaming on the eSIM line, then switch Airplane Mode on and off. If it still does not work, follow the complete no-internet checklist.
