If an eSIM stops connecting after an iOS or Android update, the profile may still be installed while one or more cellular preferences have changed.
Confirm that the eSIM is still present
Open the SIM or Cellular settings and look for EasyTripGo, Travel, Secondary or the partner-network name. If it is listed, do not rescan the QR code and do not delete the profile.
Recheck the essential settings
- Turn the EasyTripGo line on.
- Select it for mobile data.
- Enable data roaming on EasyTripGo.
- Disable automatic data switching.
- Check that the APN still matches the delivery instructions.
- Return network selection to Automatic before testing.
Refresh after the update
- Turn airplane mode on for 30 seconds, then off.
- Restart the phone again after the update has fully completed.
- Connect to Wi-Fi and check for a carrier-settings or follow-up system update.
- Turn Wi-Fi off and test mobile data.
If Automatic network selection fails
Test only the supported partner networks listed for your plan. Updates can occasionally change the selected operator or preferred network type. Try 4G/LTE if 5G is unstable.
Reset network settings only as a later step
If the usual checks fail, you may reset mobile network settings. This can remove saved Wi-Fi, VPN and APN information, so record the required details first. Do not choose Delete All eSIMs or a factory reset.
Follow the safe network-settings reset guide and how to check carrier settings.
