Yes. When your phone shares an EasyTripGo connection through Personal Hotspot or Mobile Hotspot, every connected device uses data from the same travel eSIM allowance.

Confirm the eSIM is the data source

Before enabling hotspot, select EasyTripGo as the mobile-data SIM and disable automatic data switching. Otherwise, the phone could share data from the primary line. Follow how to stop automatic switching.

Expect computers to use more data

Laptops and tablets may download operating-system updates, synchronize cloud files or stream higher-quality video automatically. Review our laptop hotspot data guide before connecting.

Reduce unnecessary usage

Set the connection as metered where available, pause cloud backups and software updates, lower video quality and disconnect devices after use. A strong hotspot password also prevents unknown devices from using the allowance.

Troubleshoot the connection safely
