A Google backup may restore supported apps, contacts and device settings, but it does not guarantee that an EasyTripGo eSIM profile will be restored. eSIM recovery depends on the phone, Android version and provider support.
Save the plan information first
Before a reset or device change, keep the order email and record the profile label and ICCID. Leave the working eSIM installed unless the phone manufacturer or repair provider specifically requires removal. Use our identifier guide.
Restore apps and data
Complete the Android setup and Google backup restore. Then open Settings > Network & internet > SIMs, or the equivalent SIM manager on your phone. Look for the EasyTripGo profile separately from restored apps.
Check before scanning again
If the profile is absent, the original QR code may already be marked as used. Repeated scans cannot force a single-use profile onto another device. Read the used activation code checklist.
Ask EasyTripGo to verify the plan
Send the order number, old and new phone models, destination and ICCID if available. Support can check the status before advising installation. If the reset has already happened, follow what to do with an eSIM after a factory reset.
If you still need help, contact EasyTripGo Support or message us on WhatsApp. Please include your order number, destination, phone model and screenshots of the relevant settings.
