If iPhone displays “Could Not Activate Cellular Data Network,” the eSIM may already be installed and registered while internet access is not correctly configured.
Confirm you are in a covered destination
A destination-specific plan will not connect in an unsupported country. If you installed the eSIM before travelling, wait until arrival before judging whether the mobile network works.
Choose EasyTripGo for cellular data
- Open Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data.
- Tap Cellular Data.
- Select the EasyTripGo eSIM.
- Disable automatic cellular-data switching.
Turn on data roaming
Open the EasyTripGo line and enable Data Roaming. Travel eSIMs commonly need this setting because they connect through partner networks. Keep roaming off on the home line.
Check APN and network selection
- Enter only the APN supplied with your order.
- If the APN is already correct, do not change unrelated fields.
- Leave network selection on Automatic first.
- If Automatic fails, test only the supported partner networks listed for the plan.
Refresh and test
- Turn Wi-Fi off.
- Turn airplane mode on for 30 seconds, then off.
- Restart iPhone.
- Open two ordinary websites.
Check data and validity
Use the data-check link in the delivery email to confirm the plan status. A signal indicator can remain visible after the allowance or validity has ended.
See the PDP Authentication Failure guide and the complete no-internet checklist.
