Install your EasyTripGo Philippines eSIM with reliable internet on a compatible, carrier-unlocked phone. The most important timing detail is that validity starts at installation. You may install before departure, but that time counts toward the selected plan duration.
Prepare before installation
Check eSIM support for your exact phone model and confirm that it is not locked to a carrier. Keep the order email available through another screen or the installation method supported by your device. You need a working connection to download the profile.
Install within 90 days of purchase. This is an installation window, not 90 days of mobile data. A 7-day package still runs for its selected 7-day duration from installation, including time on flights or without signal.
Add the eSIM and select mobile data
- Open your phone’s mobile-network settings and choose to add an eSIM.
- Use the QR code or other installation method supplied with your order.
- Give the new line a clear label such as “Philippines travel.”
- When ready to use it in the Philippines, select that line for mobile data.
- Apply the roaming and network settings provided with your order.
Menu names vary by device. Do not enter an APN from an unrelated guide. Check your home line separately: a travel eSIM does not automatically prevent charges for services used on your home subscription. Avoid unintended automatic switching to home-line data.
Test before your first island transfer
At a location with service, briefly turn off Wi-Fi and open a simple web page. This checks the mobile-data connection rather than just the hotel’s internet. The plan lists Smart and Globe; follow the supplied network selection instructions rather than assuming unrestricted switching.
5G is supported where available, along with 4G/LTE, but local reception and speed vary. If data does not work, check the selected line, settings, remaining validity and any fixed-data balance. Do not delete the eSIM as a first troubleshooting step.
Share the connection by hotspot
Once mobile data works, enable your phone’s hotspot or tethering feature, create a password and connect your laptop or other device. Hotspot is supported but depends on the phone’s own signal. It will not fix an uncovered area.
Connected devices share the same allowance. On daily Unlimited, the first 1GB is high-speed each day, then data continues at up to 5Mbps until the daily reset. A laptop does not receive a separate high-speed balance. Pause cloud backups and large software updates if you want to preserve data for travel tasks.
Messaging and help
This is data only, with no number, traditional calls or SMS. Internet messaging apps can use available data, but account verification requiring a number must be handled separately. Check access to important apps before traveling.
If you need help, use an available connection to contact EasyTripGo support on WhatsApp at +62 81190057586. Provide your order reference and a description of the issue privately. Do not post your QR code publicly, and contact support before removing the installed profile.
