When fixed data makes sense
Fixed data provides one allowance for the selected validity period. A 10GB plan means 10GB total—not 10GB per day. This can suit a traveler who mainly needs booking messages, email and maps, and can leave large downloads or uploads for suitable Wi-Fi.
A total balance can also fit uneven usage: perhaps little data during a boat excursion and more on a later day in town. You still need enough remaining data and validity. Once a fixed balance is used, do not assume reduced-speed unlimited data is included.
What daily Unlimited means
