Check the activation rule before installation

Read the plan's validity and activation details before scanning the QR code. If the plan begins at installation, installing too early can use part of the validity period. See when eSIM validity starts.

Install before travel only when permitted

A pre-travel installation can make arrival easier because reliable Wi-Fi is available at home. However, only do this when the specific plan allows it. Follow our pre-travel installation guide and keep the QR code private.

Keep travel mobile data off during transit

If the profile is already installed, you can leave it stored on the phone while keeping that line's mobile data off during the journey. This helps avoid unintended connection attempts in the wrong country or an early start under plan-specific rules.

Enable it after arriving in the covered destination

After landing, turn off Airplane Mode, switch on EasyTripGo, select it for mobile data and enable data roaming. Wait for registration and test with Wi-Fi off. Use the arrival checklist, and do not delete the profile if connection is delayed.
