A VPN, Private DNS provider, firewall, or filtering app can prevent websites from loading even when the eSIM has signal and mobile data is active. Temporarily disable these tools to determine whether they are causing the problem.
1. Test without Wi-Fi
Turn Wi-Fi off, confirm EasyTripGo is selected for mobile data, and try opening two different websites. If neither loads, continue below.
2. Disconnect the VPN
- iPhone: Open Settings → VPN or General → VPN & Device Management, then disconnect the VPN.
- Android: Open Settings → Network & internet → VPN, then disconnect. Menu names may vary.
Also pause any antivirus web protection, firewall, ad blocker, or company security profile temporarily.
3. Check DNS settings
On Android, open Settings → Network & internet → Private DNS and select Automatic for testing. On iPhone, custom DNS is normally associated with a VPN, configuration profile, or DNS app; disable that service temporarily.
4. Refresh the connection
Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, turn it off, and test again. If data works now, reconnect security tools one at a time to identify the conflict.
Security note: Only disable a security tool long enough to test. Re-enable it afterward or contact its provider for settings compatible with mobile roaming.
