After installing an EasyTripGo eSIM on iPhone, you must select it for cellular data and enable data roaming on that travel line. Installing the profile alone does not guarantee that your iPhone will use it for internet access.
Turn on and identify the travel eSIM
- Open Settings → Cellular or Mobile Data.
- Under SIMs, tap the EasyTripGo, Travel, Secondary, or newly installed line.
- Turn on Turn On This Line.
- Rename the line if needed so it is easy to identify.
If the profile is missing, stop and follow our eSIM-not-showing guide. Do not scan the QR code repeatedly.
Select EasyTripGo for cellular data
Return to the Cellular screen, tap Cellular Data, and select the travel eSIM. Only one line uses cellular data at a time. Turn off Allow Cellular Data Switching during testing so the phone does not move data back to your home line.
Enable roaming on the correct line
Tap the travel eSIM, open Cellular Data Options, and turn on Data Roaming. Travel eSIMs normally connect through partner networks, so roaming must be enabled for the travel line. Keep data roaming off on the home line to reduce the risk of home-carrier charges. See our roaming-charge prevention guide.
Test the connection
Turn Wi-Fi off, enable Airplane Mode for 30 seconds, turn it off, and open a new website. If data still fails, check the APN and supported network using our complete no-internet checklist. Do not delete the eSIM. Contact official@easytripgo.com or WhatsApp with your order number and screenshots.
