Yes. A compatible, unlocked phone can use an installed eSIM even when no other mobile line is active. The EasyTripGo profile can be selected as the phone’s mobile data line.

Enable the travel line

Open Cellular, SIM Manager, or Mobile Networks. Turn the EasyTripGo profile on, select it for mobile data, and enable data roaming. Toggle Airplane Mode for 30 seconds after arrival if registration takes time.

Understand data-only service

Most EasyTripGo products do not include a standard phone number, carrier voice calls, or SMS. Internet apps can work through data. Read the calls and texts explanation.

What you may lose without a home line

If the primary line is off, you may not receive its ordinary calls, SMS, or banking codes. Some accounts can use app-based verification, but availability depends on the service.

Choose the arrangement you need

You can use only the travel eSIM or keep two lines enabled. Review whether to keep the primary line on and how OTP messages work. Keep home-line roaming off to avoid unwanted data charges.
