Most EasyTripGo plans are data-only, so verification texts and one-time passwords sent to your normal phone number must still arrive through your primary line.
Recommended dual-SIM setup
- Keep your primary SIM or eSIM enabled.
- Keep your usual phone number selected for SMS and calls.
- Select EasyTripGo as the mobile-data line.
- Enable data roaming on EasyTripGo.
- Disable data roaming and automatic data switching on the primary line.
This lets supported dual-SIM phones use the travel eSIM for internet while the home line remains available to receive SMS.
Important limitations
- Your home carrier must provide roaming service in the destination.
- The sender or bank must allow international delivery of verification texts.
- Some services use app notifications or email instead of SMS.
- Your carrier may apply charges depending on its roaming policy.
If an OTP does not arrive
- Check that the primary line is turned on and has signal.
- Restart the phone or toggle Airplane Mode.
- Verify that the service has your correct phone number and country code.
- Try an alternative verification method offered by the service.
- Contact your home carrier if ordinary SMS also does not arrive.
EasyTripGo cannot control SMS delivery to a number supplied by another carrier. We can help confirm that your travel-data settings are correct. Contact official@easytripgo.com or WhatsApp +62 81190057586.
