Latency, often shown as ping in milliseconds, is the time data takes to travel to a server and back. A connection can have good download speed but still feel delayed during gaming, calls, remote work, or interactive apps.
Why travel eSIM latency can be higher
Traffic may travel through a roaming partner and a gateway outside your current city or country before reaching the internet. The distance to the app or test server, network congestion, weak signal, VPN routing, and packet loss can add delay. This does not automatically mean the eSIM is defective.
Test the right way
- Turn Wi-Fi off and confirm the eSIM is the data line.
- Temporarily disconnect VPN for comparison.
- Select a nearby test server rather than a distant one.
- Run one test and record ping, download, and upload.
- Try the actual app because different services use different routes.
Avoid repeated tests because they consume data. See our safe speed-test guide.
Ways to reduce delay
Move to stronger signal, toggle Airplane Mode for 30 seconds, and test LTE or 4G if 5G changes frequently. If the plan lists multiple operators, try another supported partner. Close background uploads and choose a nearer server or regional endpoint inside the affected app.

When to contact support
Do not delete the eSIM. Send your order number, exact location, phone model, network name, whether VPN was enabled, and one test screenshot to official@easytripgo.com or WhatsApp. Some routing delay is inherent and may not be removable from the phone.
