Only Some Apps Work on Your eSIM? Check App Data Access

Troubleshooting mobile data permissions when only some apps work

If the eSIM connects but only a few apps can access the internet, the mobile network is probably working. The phone may be blocking cellular data or roaming separately for individual apps.

Confirm the problem

  1. Turn Wi-Fi off.
  2. Confirm EasyTripGo is selected for mobile data.
  3. Open a working app and then an app that does not load.
  4. Check whether the affected app works again on Wi-Fi.

If the difference only appears on mobile data, review app network permissions.

iPhone

Open Settings → Cellular or Mobile Data. Scroll to the app list and make sure the affected apps are allowed to use cellular data. Depending on the iOS version, you may need to tap Show All.

Android, Samsung and Xiaomi

Menu names vary. Search Settings for Data usage, Network access, App data usage, or Data roaming exceptions. Open each affected app and allow mobile data. On some phones, roaming access is controlled separately for every app; enable it for the apps you need.

Also check these restrictions

  • Data Saver or Low Data Mode
  • Battery Saver or background-data restrictions
  • Work-profile or parental-control policies
  • Security, firewall, ad-blocking, or VPN apps

After changing permissions, close and reopen the app or restart the phone. Do not delete the eSIM.

If no app can connect, use eSIM Installed but No Internet?. For help, send screenshots of the working and blocked app settings to official@easytripgo.com or WhatsApp +62 81190057586.
