eSIM Keeps Disconnecting and Reconnecting? Try These Fixes

How to troubleshoot an eSIM that keeps disconnecting

If the EasyTripGo connection repeatedly disappears and returns, first identify whether the phone is losing signal, switching to another SIM or remaining connected without data.

Check the signal and location

Buildings, underground areas, remote roads and crowded locations can weaken service. Test near a window or outdoors. If the connection works elsewhere, the profile is probably installed correctly.

Disable automatic SIM switching

Set EasyTripGo as the mobile-data line and turn off Allow Cellular Data Switching, Auto data switching or Switch mobile data automatically. Otherwise, the phone may move data between EasyTripGo and the home line.

Test a supported network

Start with Automatic network selection. If it repeatedly changes networks, manually test a supported partner operator from the plan information. Do not force an unsupported network.

Use 4G or LTE for stability

A weak 5G connection can be less stable than LTE. Set the preferred network to 4G/LTE temporarily and compare the result.

Review phone settings

  • Turn off battery-saving or data-saving modes temporarily.
  • Disable VPN and Private DNS for testing.
  • Confirm data roaming remains enabled for EasyTripGo.
  • Turn the line off for 30 seconds and back on.
  • Restart the phone.

Record the pattern

Note the city, exact area, time, displayed network and whether you were moving between locations. This helps distinguish a coverage handover from a configuration problem.
