APN Missing, Greyed Out or Cannot Be Saved? Try These Steps

How to troubleshoot missing or unsavable APN settings

An Access Point Name (APN) tells the phone how to connect to mobile data. Depending on the device and network profile, the APN may be filled automatically, hidden, locked or available for manual entry.

Start with the correct eSIM

Make sure you are viewing the EasyTripGo eSIM settings—not the home SIM. Select EasyTripGo for mobile data and turn on data roaming before testing.

iPhone

Open Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data > EasyTripGo > Cellular Data Network if that menu is available. Enter the APN exactly as supplied. Some profiles do not allow manual APN editing; in that case the menu may not appear or may be read-only.

Samsung Galaxy

  1. Open Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.
  2. Select the EasyTripGo eSIM if prompted.
  3. Tap Add and enter the supplied APN.
  4. Use the menu to save, then select the newly created APN.
  5. Restart the phone.

Google Pixel and other Android phones

  1. Open Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > EasyTripGo.
  2. Open Access Point Names.
  3. Add a new APN, enter the supplied value, save it and select it.

If Save is missing or the APN disappears

  • Use the three-dot menu and look for Save.
  • Make sure the required Name and APN fields are not blank.
  • Do not add spaces before or after the APN.
  • Do not change MCC, MNC, APN type, username or password unless the delivery instructions specifically require it.
  • If editing is locked, restart the phone and check whether the automatically created APN connects.

Never guess an APN. Use the value in your delivery email or provided by support. Review the complete APN guide and the no-internet checklist.
