Airplane Mode should normally be off when you want to use EasyTripGo mobile data. It disables the phone's cellular radios, although most phones let you switch Wi-Fi on separately while Airplane Mode remains active.

Use Airplane Mode during the flight

Follow the airline's instructions and keep Airplane Mode enabled in the air. You may turn Wi-Fi or Bluetooth back on if the airline permits it. The eSIM can remain installed; there is no reason to delete it for the flight.

Turn it off after landing

Once device use is permitted, disable Airplane Mode so the EasyTripGo line can search for a supported local partner. Then select EasyTripGo for mobile data and enable roaming on that line. Review the complete arrival checklist.

Use a short toggle to refresh registration

If the phone shows no service, switch Airplane Mode on for 15–30 seconds and turn it off again. This asks the device to reconnect. Wait several minutes before repeating other steps and see manual network selection guidance if needed.

Check settings if data still fails

Confirm the correct data SIM, data roaming and APN instructions from the plan. Restart the phone and test with Wi-Fi off. For persistent signal with no internet, follow our connection checklist without removing the profile.
