Phones can store several eSIM profiles, but only a limited number can be active at the same time. The exact limits depend on the model and software version. An installation error may appear if the device has reached its stored-profile limit.
Stored profiles and active lines are different
A phone may store more eSIMs than it can use simultaneously. For example, supported iPhones can store multiple eSIMs, while the number of active lines is more limited. Android limits vary widely by manufacturer and regional model.
Review the SIM list
- iPhone: Settings → Cellular or Mobile Data.
- Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM Manager.
- Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs.
Temporarily turn off unused lines and retry. Turning a line off is safer than deleting it and can resolve an active-line conflict.
If the phone says storage is full
Identify old plans carefully. Confirm that an old plan has expired and is no longer needed before removing it. If you are unsure who supplied a profile, contact that provider first.
Never delete the EasyTripGo eSIM you are currently troubleshooting. Deleting it may prevent reinstallation with the same QR code. Read Why You Should Not Delete Your eSIM.
