The SM-DP+ address and activation code are manual eSIM installation details. They allow a compatible phone to download the same type of secure eSIM profile that would normally be installed by scanning a QR code.
What each field means
- SM-DP+ address: the server address your phone contacts to download the eSIM profile.
- Activation code: the unique code that identifies and authorizes the profile download.
- Confirmation code: an additional code used only when the provider specifically supplies one.
If your delivery information does not include a confirmation code, normally leave that field blank rather than inventing a value.
When to use manual installation
Manual entry is useful when the QR code is displayed on the same phone, the camera cannot scan it, or the phone offers an Enter Details Manually option. It is an alternative installation method, not a second installation.
General installation steps
- Connect the phone to stable Wi-Fi.
- Open Cellular, Mobile Network, SIM Manager, or Connections.
- Select Add eSIM or Add Mobile Plan.
- Choose Enter Details Manually.
- Copy the SM-DP+ address exactly.
- Enter the activation code exactly as provided.
- Use a confirmation code only if one was supplied.
- Wait for the profile to appear before leaving the screen.

Avoid common errors
Do not add spaces, change capitalization, include quotation marks, or enter the entire QR-code string into the wrong field. Do not repeatedly submit the information if the profile already appears in the SIM list.
The activation details are private and may allow someone else to download the profile. Never share them publicly. If they are rejected, send the exact error and your order number to official@easytripgo.com or WhatsApp.
