Install before starting the drive

Use stable Wi-Fi to install the eSIM before departure. Keep the QR code and order information available on another device or offline. Do not delete the eSIM after installation. What happens at the border?

The phone may take a few minutes to register on a partner network after entering the other country. Leave network selection on automatic, then briefly use airplane mode if service does not appear. The plan uses Verizon in the United States and Bell Canada or Telus Canada in Canada. You do not normally need to install a second profile when crossing between the two countries.
