What happens after a border crossing?

When you arrive in a new destination, your phone searches for an available supported network. Registration can take several minutes, especially inside stations, immigration halls, tunnels or ferry terminals.

Keep the EasyTripGo line switched on, select it for mobile data and make sure data roaming is enabled for that eSIM. Automatic network selection is the best first choice. If service does not return, turn airplane mode on for about 30 seconds and then switch it off.

Before boarding a train, bus or ferry

Save tickets, hotel addresses and immigration information offline before you travel. Mobile service may briefly disappear in tunnels, underground stations or at sea. Downloading essential details prevents a temporary signal gap from becoming a travel problem.

Dual-SIM users should also confirm that the travel eSIM—not the home SIM—is selected for mobile data. This reduces the risk of accidental roaming charges from the primary carrier. You can keep the home SIM active for calls or verification messages, but review its roaming settings first.

If data does not reconnect

Wait in an open area for a few minutes, then restart the network connection with airplane mode. If needed, restart the phone and check automatic network selection again. Do not delete the eSIM while troubleshooting; most QR codes are intended for one installation, and deleting the profile can make recovery harder.

Coverage is generally better in urban areas and along major transport routes. Remote countryside, mountains and enclosed transit areas may have weaker service. Speeds can also vary with local coverage, congestion and device compatibility.
