Install your Nepal eSIM when you have a reliable internet connection and have chosen the start time deliberately. For this product, the validity period begins at installation. Waiting to turn on mobile data later does not postpone that start.
Before you begin
Check that your exact device supports eSIM and is not locked to another carrier. Keep your order email and setup instructions accessible. Use the installation method supplied with your order and your phone's add-eSIM process; menu names differ by model and software version.
The EasyTripGo Nepal eSIM must be installed within 90 days of purchase. Installing before departure is possible, but that time counts toward the chosen duration. You can purchase ahead without installing immediately.
Select the correct data line
Give the new profile a recognisable label such as Nepal Travel. When you need service in Nepal, select it for mobile data and apply any settings specified in the supplied instructions. Do not guess APN values or copy settings from an unrelated plan.
Check whether your phone can automatically switch data to your home line, and adjust that setting if you want to prevent unintended usage. Any activity on the home SIM remains subject to your home carrier's terms and charges.
Test before an onward journey
Once connected, load a small page or send a message. Save the next address, meeting instructions and itinerary while service is available. Ncell is the listed network, but reception depends on the actual location, terrain, device and network conditions.
If you are leaving Kathmandu or Pokhara for a remote itinerary, prepare before departure. The product warns that mountain and trekking areas can have no service. A later loss of signal does not automatically mean installation failed.
Use hotspot within the allowance
Hotspot and tethering are supported. After mobile data works, enable your phone's hotspot with a strong password and connect the other device. All devices use the same plan allowance and available connection; hotspot adds neither coverage nor a separate high-speed quota.
Daily Unlimited gives 1GB of high-speed data per day, followed by unlimited data at up to 5Mbps. It resets daily, but the exact reset hour is not stated here. Pause automatic laptop updates and photo backups if you want to preserve high-speed data for other tasks.
Fixed-data plans provide a total allowance during validity. Monitor usage across your phone and shared devices. If a companion leaves hotspot range, their internet connection through your phone will end, so keep important meeting details on both devices.
Understand data-only service
No telephone number, traditional calls or SMS are included. Existing messaging apps can use the connection, but this eSIM cannot receive a verification code on a new Nepali number. Arrange any necessary calling or account access separately.
If you need assistance
Check the selected line, remaining validity and supplied settings. Where practical, test in a better-covered location. Do not delete the profile as your first troubleshooting step; removal does not pause the plan.
