Install your Iraq eSIM when you are ready for its purchased duration to begin. There is a 90-day installation window after purchase, but the plan's travel days start at installation—not when you first use mobile data in Iraq.
Travel context: At the September 4, 2026 check, the U.S. advisory remained Level 4: Do Not Travel. Check your government's current advice. This is connectivity guidance, not a recommendation to travel or a safety assurance.
Before installation
- Check eSIM support for your exact device model and regional version.
- Confirm that the phone is unlocked for another provider.
- Have a working internet connection and the supplied setup details ready.
- Save your order reference and essential contact information offline.
Installing before departure is possible, but uses part of the duration. If your schedule changes, check the plan's actual expiry before relying on it. Switching the line off does not restart the clock.
Install and select the right data line
- Open mobile or cellular settings and choose the option to add an eSIM.
- Follow the supplied QR-code or manual installation instructions.
- Label the new line clearly, for example “Iraq data”.
- When using the service in Iraq, enable that line and select it for mobile data.
- Apply any required data-roaming and APN settings exactly as supplied.
- Disable automatic data switching to your home line and test a small web page.
Menu names vary by device. Use the manufacturer's current instructions alongside your order details. Do not invent APN values or copy them from an unrelated plan. Keep the installation QR code private.
Share by hotspot
Enable Personal Hotspot or Wi-Fi hotspot, set a strong password and connect the other device. Hotspot is supported, but all connected devices use the same allowance and depend on the host phone's reception and battery.
On Unlimited, the shared allocation is 1GB high-speed data each day, followed by unlimited data at up to 5Mbps until the daily reset. It is not 1GB for each connected device. Pause automatic updates and backups, and disconnect devices when they no longer need access.
If the connection does not work
First check that installation completed, the travel line is enabled and it is selected for mobile data. Confirm that the plan is still valid and, on fixed-data options, that data remains. Compare roaming and APN settings with the supplied instructions.
Then briefly toggle airplane mode or restart the device. Test again from another appropriate nearby location if possible, without changing your travel arrangements merely to seek signal. The network is Asiacell, but reception is not guaranteed at every address.
If service is slow, check whether you have reached the daily high-speed limit on Unlimited. Weak signal and network congestion can also lower speed. The 5Mbps cap is not a guaranteed minimum, and this product does not specify a 4G or 5G entitlement.
Do not delete the eSIM first
Deleting the profile can complicate recovery. Contact EasyTripGo support on WhatsApp using an available connection and provide your order reference, phone model, location and error screenshot. Do not post the QR code publicly. If more data or time is needed, ask about purchasing a suitable new plan.
Keep a separate communication fallback
This is data only, without a phone number or traditional calls and SMS. It is not a dedicated emergency communication service. Keep essential contacts in another accessible form and follow the arrangements established with your host or employer. A device setting change cannot guarantee service during a wider network disruption.
