Quick answer
Install your EasyTripGo Canada eSIM on stable Wi-Fi, keep it on the original phone, select it for mobile data and enable Data Roaming after arrival if instructed. Hotspot is allowed, but connected devices share the same allowance and fair-use limit.
Before installation
- Confirm your exact phone model and regional version support eSIM.
- Make sure the device is carrier-unlocked.
- Connect to reliable Wi-Fi and keep the QR email available.
- Check the selected duration and installation deadline.
- Do not share the QR code or scan it on the wrong device.
Plan days begin when installation completes. Install close enough to departure that the selected 3–30-day duration covers your final day. Turning the line off does not pause it. Installation is normally required within 90 days of purchase; follow your delivery email.
Install the Canada eSIM
On iPhone
- Open Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data.
- Tap Add eSIM, then Use QR Code.
- Scan the EasyTripGo QR code and complete the prompts.
- Label the line “EasyTripGo Canada.”
On Android
- Open Settings and find SIM Manager, Network & internet or Connections.
- Choose Add eSIM or Download a SIM.
- Scan the QR code and approve installation.
- Label the profile so it is easy to identify.
Menu names vary by phone brand and system version. Do not scan repeatedly after an error, and do not delete the profile before contacting support.
Connect after arriving in Canada
- Turn on the EasyTripGo line.
- Select it as the mobile-data SIM. On dual-SIM phones, confirm the home SIM is not still selected for data.
- Enable Data Roaming for EasyTripGo if instructed.
- Turn Wi-Fi off temporarily and test a webpage.
- If needed, use Airplane Mode for 15–30 seconds or restart the phone.
The Canada product supports Bell and Telus where available. Automatic network selection is the usual first choice; manual selection can help if registration fails.
Use hotspot safely
On iPhone, open Settings > Personal Hotspot. On Android, search Settings for Hotspot, Tethering or Mobile Hotspot. Use a strong password and turn hotspot off when it is not needed.
Every laptop or tablet uses the same plan. Pause system updates, cloud backup, photo synchronization and automatic video playback. With Daily Unlimited, all devices share the 1GB daily high-speed allowance; service then continues at up to 5Mbps until the daily reset.
Troubleshooting checklist
| Symptom | Check |
|---|---|
| No mobile data | Correct data SIM, line enabled and roaming setting |
| Signal but no internet | Airplane Mode, restart, APN instructions and remaining data |
| Cannot install | Wi-Fi, compatibility, carrier lock and whether the code was used |
| Hotspot device offline | Phone connection, password and remaining allowance |
Never delete the eSIM as a first troubleshooting step. If fixed data is exhausted, purchase a new Canada eSIM plan; do not assume the current plan can be topped up.
Frequently asked questions
Can I move the eSIM to another phone?
Do not assume it is transferable. Contact support before changing devices or deleting the profile.
Can I keep my normal SIM active?
Yes, on supported dual-SIM phones. Select EasyTripGo for data and review the home carrier's roaming settings to avoid charges.
Does the plan include a Canadian number?
No. It is data-only, but WhatsApp, FaceTime and other internet apps can use the connection.
