When 3GB may work
Three gigabytes can suit a traveller using hotel Wi-Fi and avoiding mobile video. Download offline maps and disable automatic media downloads.
When 5GB or 10GB is safer
Five gigabytes provides room for normal daily social use. Ten gigabytes better supports frequent uploads, longer navigation sessions, occasional calls or days without dependable Wi-Fi. Select a seven-day duration on the product page; more service days do not automatically mean more data.
How Unlimited works
Unlimited includes 1GB of high-speed data each day, then continued data at up to 5Mbps until the daily reset. Large downloads and high-resolution streaming may be less comfortable after the high-speed portion.
Reduce data use
- Download maps over Wi-Fi.
- Disable cloud photo backup and automatic updates.
- Lower streaming quality.
- Monitor laptop background traffic when tethering.
Install at the right time
The selected duration begins at installation. Installing early can consume travel days before arrival. Install within 90 days and keep internet access available. See the installation guide.
