In most cases, you cannot install the same travel eSIM on two phones. An eSIM QR code normally downloads one secure profile to one compatible device. After a successful installation, scanning the same code on another phone may show an error such as code already used, activation code invalid, or unable to add eSIM.
Choose the intended phone before installation
- Confirm the exact phone model supports eSIM.
- Make sure the phone is carrier unlocked.
- Check that the phone will be used for the trip.
- Connect it to stable Wi-Fi before scanning.
- Install the profile only once.
If you are helping another traveler, let that person install the eSIM directly on the phone they will carry.
Do not test the QR code on a spare phone
Scanning a code on a spare device can consume the installation even if you planned to use the eSIM elsewhere. Do not install it temporarily just to check whether the code works. You can confirm compatibility before installation using our carrier-unlock guide and missing Add eSIM guide.
If the eSIM is already installed
Keep the original profile on the phone. Do not delete it, factory-reset the device, or repeatedly scan the code. If the phone is lost, damaged, or being replaced, contact support before changing anything. Transfer and replacement options depend on the profile status and plan rules.

If you used the wrong phone
Send EasyTripGo Support the order number, the original and new phone models, the destination, travel dates, and a screenshot of the error. After checking the profile status, support can advise whether a replacement QR code is available.
Contact official@easytripgo.com or message EasyTripGo Support on WhatsApp. Never post the QR code publicly.
