Some destinations, networks or specific eSIM plans require identity verification, commonly called KYC (“Know Your Customer”). This may be required by local regulation or the network provider before service can be activated.
How do I know whether KYC is required?
Check the product information and your EasyTripGo delivery email. Requirements are plan-specific; not every eSIM or destination requires identity registration.
How to complete verification safely
- Open only the secure verification link supplied with your order.
- Use the valid passport or identity document requested on that page.
- Enter your details exactly as they appear on the document.
- Submit clear, uncropped images if document images are requested.
- Wait for approval before expecting the eSIM service to activate.
Protect your identity
- Never post your passport or ID in a product review, public forum or social-media message.
- Do not send identity documents to an unknown address or unofficial account.
- Do not share an eSIM QR code publicly.
- Use the official order link and follow the exact instructions shown there.
If the verification link fails
Take a screenshot of the error without exposing sensitive document details. Contact EasyTripGo Support with your order number, destination, phone model and the error screenshot. Do not attach an identity document unless the secure verification process or support instructions specifically require it.
Approval time depends on the destination and provider, so complete any required registration before you urgently need the connection.
