Prepare the UK local-IP eSIM on dependable Wi-Fi and keep the QR code private. Most connection problems come from compatibility, the wrong data line, an APN setting or temporary network registration rather than a damaged profile.
What should you check before installing?
Confirm that the exact phone model and regional version support eSIM and that the device is carrier-unlocked. Company-managed phones may block adding mobile plans. Charge the device and open the QR code on another screen. The product lists 90-day eSIM validity, but follow the delivery email if it gives a more specific deadline.
Review the UK local-IP eSIM and use the main plan guide before purchase.
How do you install the profile?
On iPhone, open Settings, Cellular or Mobile Data, then Add eSIM and scan the code. On Android, look under SIM Manager, Connections or Network & internet for Add eSIM or Download a SIM. Menu names vary. Label the profile “EasyTripGo UK,” enable it after arrival and select it for mobile data.
Install the profile only on the device you intend to use. QR codes may be single-use, and moving an eSIM between phones should not be assumed to work. If the phone reports that the code has already been used, stop retrying and contact support with the order number.
The plan connects through EE. Read the UK coverage guide before remote travel.
When should you enter the APN?
If mobile data does not connect automatically, open the selected eSIM's mobile-network settings and enter everywhere as the APN exactly as shown. Leave username and password unchanged unless the delivery instructions specify values. Save the profile, toggle Airplane Mode for 30 seconds and retest with Wi-Fi temporarily disabled.
The 30-day call-minutes guide explains the supplied UK number and calling options.
What if it still does not work?
Confirm EasyTripGo is the active data line and that automatic network selection is enabled. Restart the phone and wait several minutes. On dual-SIM devices, disable automatic data switching so the home line does not take over. Do not delete the eSIM, reset every network setting or scan the QR code on another phone before contacting support.
Test with Wi-Fi turned off by opening a new webpage rather than relying only on a messaging notification. If calls work but data does not, recheck the APN. If neither registers, move outdoors and retry after Airplane Mode before changing anything else.
